Sinner's Prayer
Im lyrically inclined to this page in my mind,
where i can only hope but to rewind, back.
where the lines and deceit brought me to my failures and defeats,
to mislead me in the wrong direction.
they say "girl just do it so your'e apart of the 'in crowd"
when all i really wanted was a place to be found,
and not to be drawn by the profound debts of,
miscommunication and considering death Lord.
Im just tryna find a way not to be hurt Lord,
but it seems like nobody understands me at all Lord.
And since i've been writing, nothings been the same,
more like a therapy to help me through the pain.
Cause all i really wanted was to be the better child,
and hope someday to make my mother proud.
So i looked up and above and asked for some guidance,
He whispered in my ear and said :
"Child be silent, do these simple tasks and you'll never have to ask which way do you go cause you have God's Halo."
And ever since that day,
I can't kneel down and Pray,
Confusion to illusion,
Makes me wonder if he's using,
My mind to insight these words down to write this....
